A new article series
Other than just have 2009 SP Authentic Football Patches on here, I am also going to have "Not so great moments in Patch Fakery", oh and "Not so great Moments in Auto Fakery". Excellent Idea
Gellman from SCU, yeah like anyone doesn't know who that is, has volunteered as a contributor and you should too. He also suggested that I assign certain players for each volunteer to be on the lookout for.
Basically what this whole thing breaks down to is spending a few minutes, ok maybe 20 minutes every once in a while trolling, ebay, Blowout forums, FCB, etc checking on posted breaks and auctions to see what is pulled or offered for sale. If someone says they pulled a card, sending them an email begging for a pic or a scan and pointing them to the blog.

Waiting for the Checklist
Upper Deck still has not posted a checklist for SP Authentic or any of their releases that are supposed to happen in the next month. I will include 2009 Exquisite Patches in this page as well.

The 2009 SP Authentic Football Patch Project
With the release of 2009 Upper Deck SP Authentic Football on the horizon and the patch faker shenanigans of the past couple of years, me thinks its project time.
My goal is to have a database of sp authentic rookie auto patches with player name, numbering, patch configuration i.e. single color, multi color, logo, etc. Of course I am going to need help from all of you too. Whenever you come across an RPA, if you could grab a pic, scan or whatever and send it to jldoveror@yahoo.com I will get it posted. You will be credited.
I realize this will mean literally thousands of pictures, patches, whatever, but I think its cool. Anyway, I am sure I am not the only person doing this but whatever.
I am also looking for contributors to the blog.
